Up in Vermont in the camper van.
31 degrees.
Used Harvest Hosts and stayed on a maple syrup farm.
When I arrived, I got a ping in Messages:
“Welcome to Canada.”
No cell or data service.
Beautiful area and farm.
Bought a maple syrup sampler for my grandnephew Tommy.
What an adventure!
Heater is cranking.
Alice is burrowed under blankets.
Coffee is hot.
And I’m ready to go adventuring today.
Looking for a spot in the forest to camp out for a couple of days.
In life, you never know what you’re going to get.
Yin and yang are your dance partners.
Thrust into this world.
Given a mind and body.
Add emotions to make it extra spicy.
No explanation.
Other than one day, you will end.
The only orders are: go forth.
So, in between, you do your best
to not lose your shit,
to love like hell.
Life’s a trip.
