Just left my mom’s, 88 years old, after an extended stay.
One of the hardest things I’ve ever done is drive away as she stands in her doorway, waving goodbye with a sad face.
Big sigh and then a cry.

It is always hard. I am sure she loved having you and that she will treasure the memories you made together. It is not the same, but we are fortunate that we have the technology to stay in touch with family and friends. Have a good visit with your brother. 💞
