Focusing on Now Cartoons

I came across this little gem of a book with these cartoons this past weekend called Love is letting go of fear by Dr. Gerald Jampolsky. It’s a very short read, but the messages are spot on and timeless. If you’re like me, you spend a lot of time on regrets from the past or focusing on fears of the future. Obviously not good and it only gives you more of the same.

Hope this keeps you focused on Now and the love that surrounds us and the potential each of us have to create and spread more goodness each moment.

Happy Tuesday,

Dwight🦋

  1. This probably sounds obvious, but I need to stay busy with social and productive things so I don’t sink into the past regrets / future worries trap. One new thing I am trying soon is pickleball! A new place just opened up near us 🙂

  2. Wonderful book! It was required reading when I was studying to become a Colorado State Certified Body/Mind therapist in the late 80’s. Or I read it for biofeedback training, the 80’s was a long time ago! But I remember the book! Would be good to read it again. One of my favorite sayings is “If you have one foot in the past, and one foot in the future, then you are pissing on today”

  3. I’ve never heard of this book but I love these and thanks for this reminder! The quote Roxanne said above, I just love too! Good one to keep in mind! PS- I’ve been checking in with WP and my feed all day and your blog just showed up. Says you posted it 12 hours ago. Always late to the party. 😆
