The Man: me
The Number: 58
Add them together and it equals a pretty cool faded jeans living!

Next month I will reach the age of 58 as I continue to grow. That once was an old age in my mind, but is now pretty darn neat. Iβm currently listening to some REM and feeling good. Loving where Iβm at and definitely not shy to brag about it. So there. It came from many of lifeβs wonderful tribulations that knocked me on my ass and then roaringly asked, βNow what are you going to do?β. Iβd sulk, cry, hide, and inevitably stand uP and nervously say β¦ βIβm going to change, Iβm going to grow to my full potential β¦fucker!β. I wouldnβt be whom I am today without all that funness. It took many years to gain that outlook.
Hereβs my current 2024 plans for growth
I feel the need to share some of the wisdom Iβve gained to help others navigate life a little smoother than I did. I completely realize I need to work on my communications so I can reach more folks effectively before they toss my messages to the side. In this endeavor Iβll be working on the following:
– public speaking (toastmasters)
– increasing my vocabulary (app called Vocabulary)
– writing and grammar class (Udemy? Suggestions?)
– storytelling class (Suggestions?)
Itβs actually exciting looking at areas of my life that I want to improve upon and having so many resources at my fingertips that can assist me. It brings up the concept of ReFiring to me. Starting anew. Constantly. Never stop learning . We were intended here to shine and grow regardless of a number!
What is something new you plan on learning this year?
Peace,
Dwight π¦
