Going for it – back from vacation (Week 16)

Spent a week, week 15, off and enjoyed the sun and beach out at Sandbridge, VA. It was wonderful to take a big break and just relax and play. The two houses we rented worked out great. The one on the beach had all the families with young kids and the one one block back had all the old farts…me included. Believe me I had no problem with that.

Spent most days walking the shoreline, swimming, snacking, and going up to a little store for ice cream. Played beer bong with the hipsters, I didn’t drink of course but got to toss the ping pong ball..they wanted Uncle Dwight to play so I guess I’m still in the fun group.😀

Week 16

It was great giving my muscles a week off and not having to cook so much. This week I was totally ready to get back into my “Going for it” routine.

I didn’t take hardly any photos. My phone sat on my nightstand most of the time while I was out having fun. Here’s a few:

Our flock

Crank it uP and enjoy your summer,

Dwight✌️

  1. So happy to hear you had such a nice time at the reunion! Very cool they wanted Uncle Dwight to play beer pong! ( without the beer ) You look very happy and refreshed! The first night we arrived to my brothers (after a 13 hour trip) with my parents my niece was so happy to see me she gave me 4 hugs and showed me her room and all her favorite toys. ( she’s 5 ) Then we sat on the couch and she showed me clips of her favorite Disney movies. Since I said no thank you to a drink I really sat back and appreciated my time with her. ❤️
