You did the best you could?

I’m sure many of you have seen these quotes or those very similar to this theme. For the most part, I agree with them, but there is small part of me that says no this isn’t completely true. There were times when I knew all the information, I new better, but I still didn’t make the right decision or take the correct path. So what gives you’re asking? My thought is I and many of us were presented several great opportunities and we became scared. Fear won!

That may be hard to swallow, but if you’re like me you can honestly look back and admit this was indeed the case many times in the past and maybe even right NOW.

Will today be the day we face our fears or will we continue to tell our soul to hush? It will take a daily practice with much effort, faith, and even sacrifices, but this fear could actually be our guide into a whole new light, a whole new life? More to come on this topic.

I’ll end this short post with this:

      • I’ve always loved this quote from Dune: “I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”
Frank Herbert, Dune (Dune Chronicles, #1)

  1. That’s true, Dwight. Fear is a big road block in many of our paths. Fear is definitely it’s own element in the equation and prevents us from living out our potential, or doing out best. Looking forward to hearing more! Xx

  2. I definitely know fear won many times in the past. When my last daughter graduates ( next year ) I really want to change work. It’s great I own my own cleaning business ( It’s just me but I work full time ) however it’s been 12 years and cleaning bathrooms in particular are getting to be such a daunting job. Plus houses have normally 2 1/2 baths. Right now I like if my daughter has an appointment, sports or roads are bad in winter I can just re-adjust my schedule. So When you mentioned fear in your post I thought of this. My fear will likely be fear of not being good enough. Maybe I was meant to just clean houses. I have no college experience. I think you have given me something to work on! 👍🏻
Ps-Sorry for the ramble bamble! 😆

    • Nothing at all wrong with having your one cleaning business. In fact I think it’s pretty impressive. As you know there’s a lot going into running your own business so I would think you’d be very marketable with all your skills. I’m pondering a 52 week fear challenge where each week I make progress or actions on 3 to 4 fears I want face. Should be more info coming soon on my next post. Sending big hugs my rockin hero! 🤗😎🎸🦸‍♀️

      • Wow! Can’t wait to hear about that challenge! You always impress me! Monday I’m starting a healthier eating plan and working out also. I’m really excited about it and last summer I spent the summer not liking my body that much so I have decided to make a change so I don’t repeat last summer.
Thank you for your kind words on my cleaning business! All are very long term clients, even some from the beginning. They would hate to see me go, but we have a great relationship that they would encourage me as well. Here’s to always improving! 🎯
