7 Years Sober

Sometimes, if you’re lucky, you reach the point of being truly sick and tired of being sick and tired—and you choose to do something about it.

Today I honor February 16, 2019—not my first attempt at sobriety, but the day it finally held. The day I gave myself a real chance to live this beautiful life. I knew there had to be light behind the clouds; I never knew how bright it could be.

Forever grateful,

Dwight

  2. hard to believe it’s been that long. I remember when so many of us on here started our journey together ( ish) and I truly miss the comradery. I don’t think most of our little group is even on here anymore. But hey, we got each other through some tough times. We walked the not linear path. Crazy to think how many failed, but also how wonderful some succeeded.. Hugs, you!
