For a bit of context for my 52 week challenge check out these links – You did the best you could? and Going for it 52 Week Challenge!
The weather warmed up on week 6, which was just what I needed for a step up. Had to laugh, was heading out onto the street for a walk and was looking both ways and way down the road I saw a flash of a woman walking fast with a lot of skin showing. I’ll admit I had to take a second look. It was only in the mid sixties, but she was wearing a tank top and shorts and just trucking along. I could just imagine her saying to herself, screw it, I’m tired of being all bundled up for the last 6 Months. It was refreshing to see.
Week 6
No big insights to report. Didn’t get a full lesson in on the guitar, but did practice some chords throughout the week. German is getting a bit tougher as I go along. I may start repeating some lessons just so they stick. The whole goal is to learn and not just complete tasks.

Peacefull
My friend invited me to stay in a mountain cabin this past weekend. I’m trying to lean into getting out of my comfort bubble, so I said YES! It was right next to the most perfect peaceful stream ever with mountains all around us. It was just what I needed – she knows me well.😊❤️

Make some memories ,
Dwight✌️

Very awesome on the cabin! 😃 I bet that was just what ya needed! 🎯 I have been saying to myself I’ve got to do something other than my daily routine! You are really rockin’ your goals and how was the spaghetti? Sounds super yummy! I didn’t do well with my work out goals last week but you have me pumped to do them right when I get home from work! ✅ 🏋🏻♂️ ( Well maybe not that much weight, I’m kind of wimpy. 😂😂😂 ) Hehehe!!! Thanks for making me have a kick ass day today!! 🙌🏻

To be honest the spaghetti was just fair, but the tacos later in the week were excellent! Keep at it Jackie with your work out goals…slow, steady, and you’ll be on your way : ) The mental and physical benefits are well worth it.

Thanks Dwight! I sure will! Oh I loooooove 🌮’s!! I have a sweatshirt that says “Feed me tacos and tell me I’m pretty.” 😂 I love any taco too! Regular tacos and fish tacos are my favorite! 🤤

The cabin is so beautiful!! I have been trying to plan more out of the ordinary things for the summer – it takes effort especially if it involves other people, but as you said – memories!!

Memories is definitely one of my main focuses this spring and summer. Heading out on a mountain bike adventure and camping in 2 weeks.😊

It was amazing, Anne. I think I’ll go back in the fall with the changing of the colors.

Sounds like a plan👍. Make sure you pay more pictures. (Wierd but true – my boss used to take an occasional day off to go fishing and he would call me from his boat so I could hear the peaceful sounds of the water lapping around his boat 😂).
